No. Never — unless you both independently enter each other AND you both accept the match. A one-sided entry produces no notification, no hint, nothing.

Never. Not as a push, not as an email, not as a blurred photo or a count. If someone chooses you and you haven't chosen them, nothing happens — nothing anywhere shows it, at any price. The only match-related message we will ever send you is the one that says it's mutual.

No, and neither can anyone else. The service never confirms whether an address belongs to an account — that protection is the point.

Credit where due: Facebook proved the idea — a way to quietly pick someone and only be heard if it's mutual. The differences are structural.

Their crushes can only go to Facebook friends or friends of friends, and a match is only possible if both of you have opted into Facebook Dating and built a Dating profile inside the Facebook app. And per Meta's own help pages, adding someone as a crush places your profile in their “Liked You” tab — where they can see you liked them before anything is mutual.

Here, a crush is an email address — anyone with an inbox, whether or not they've ever heard of us. If they ever join, verify that address, and choose you back, you both find out at the same moment. No profile to build, no photos to pick, and nothing for anyone to browse: until it's mutual, there is nothing to see. Not a tab, not a hint, not a notification.

By itself, nothing but the fact of mutual interest. Each of you then chooses, field by field, what the other may see. If you share nothing, they only learn you were interested.

Matches close when either side declines, the response window ends, or an account becomes unavailable. For everyone's privacy we don't say which it was.

Add it under My identifiers and click the link we send. Only verified addresses participate in matching.

Both live in Settings. Pause stops new matching while keeping your account; deletion removes your account and withdraws your entries, with limited retention only where safety or law requires it.

Use Block or Report — available from every match and conversation, even before accepting. Blocking is immediate, silent, and permanent unless you undo it.

Members can pause in Settings. Anyone — member or not — can permanently suppress their address via the non-user opt-out page.

Then it waits — for as long as you keep it. You choose how long each crush stays sealed (1 month to 1 year), and renewing is one tap, as many times as you like — it's part of every plan, never something you pay for. We send a quiet reminder before a seal lapses. While it stays active, matching re-checks it the moment anyone new arrives. People join when their lives let them; if it's ever mutual, next month or far down the line, you'll both find out at the same moment. Timing breaks enough almosts. It doesn't have to break this one.

5 active entries at a time — free for everyone during early access. (Once paid plans arrive, the free plan includes 3 and Crush+ includes 8.) Entries expire automatically after the disclosed period; withdraw one anytime to make room, and a mutual match frees its slot.
